Obtaining certification of materials in line with European, US and recently also Brazilian standards and legislation has proven to be the winning strategy for the Italian company TeMa, allowing it to take a leadership position in the production of stadium seating. In view of the 2014 world soccer championships and the 2016 Olympics, which will both take place in Brazil, the company from Bergamo recently took the lead with its Temalen FR HF, an engineering polymer that meets the requisites laid out in the Brazilian standard NDR 15925 and that will be used in the production of seats for the Belo Horizonte and Maracanã stadiums. This prestigious Brazilian order is added to numerous others from Europe and the rest of the world over the past 10-12 years. TeMa engineering polymers and masterbatches are characterized by:
- durability: mechanical and aesthetic resistance to atmospheric agents and solar radiation of up to 700-800 kLy;
- eco-sustainability: the materials are formulated using halide-free chemicals determined to be safe for humans and the environment in current international law.
