Frigel announced on March 23 that it is nearing completion of its new 9,000-square-meter manufacturing facility in Bangkok, Thailand, as the company continues to meet growing demand for its advanced process cooling technology.
The new 7 million dollars plant is slated for completion in April and is primarily focused on serving customers in the burgeoning Asia Pacific market. The total investment for the plant includes costs for land, construction and production machinery. The new facility, which began construction in 2013, is expected to be fully operational in September 2015. Frigel will transition to the new facility from its existing 1,000-square-meter Bangkok plant beginning this summer.
According to Frigel CEO Duccio Dorin, the sizeable increase in the company’s Thailand manufacturing operation signifies the company’s commitment to the Asia Pacific market. He added that it also signals clear optimism for overall company growth as manufacturers worldwide increasingly adopt advanced process cooling technologies.
