In addition to the well-known and proven products for all kind of polymers and plastic processing machines, after months of laboratory testing and tests on machines while running, Ultra System recently introduced its brand new range of purging compounds Qualipurge CS: PO-CS, POE-CS (both for polyolefins), High-CS (for all transparent materials, such as polycarbonate and PMMA), PET-CS  (for PET) and HT-CS (for all types of polyamide, PEEK, Apec copolycarbonates and Ultem polyetherimides). 

All grades within the Qualipurge CS range are suitable for the cleaning of screw/barrel and hot runner systems and guarantee a much higher purging efficiency than the standard Ultra System products, thanks to the new revolutionary formulation of the active part.

The cleaning time for a medium sized injection moulding machine (clamping force: 600 t, screw diameter: 90 mm) can be reduced by 30%, compared with the use of the former Ultra Plast products, and with fewer scraps. This means 90% of total cost reduction compared to the cleaning without any purging compound.

Furthermore, all grades are 100% recyclable, which guarantees high sustainability. This aspect is important in order to make sure that we have and will continue to have water, materials, and resources to protect both human health and the environment.

Another new important feature of the special grade HT-CS is that it can be used to clean materials at a temperature up to 420°C without producing any kind of smoke, even if the processed material contains a high percentage of carbon black or special additives such as flame retardants.
