At Mecspe 2019, to be held in Parma (Italy) from March 28 to 30, Kraiburg TPE will present itself with its market-oriented portfolio of thermoplastic elastomers and a comprehensive service package. Kraiburg TPE’s trade-fair appearance will focus on the new TEH technology platform developed for automotive and industrial applications. The TPE specialists will also show its wide variety of developments and applications for the consumer and medical markets.

The new thermoplastic elastomer hybrids (TEHs) enable Kraiburg TPE to reduce the differences in performance between thermoplastic elastomers and rubber. TEH can not only be used as an economically convincing and thermoplastically processable alternative to common cross-linked rubber solutions, but they also provide attractive options for multi-component applications that are combined with technical plastics such as polyamides and thermoplastic polyesters.

Kraiburg TPE will also present its compounds for consumer applications at Mecspe. The company’s broad portfolio of market-oriented TPE compounds offers product solutions for a wide variety of applications.

Kraiburg TPE has developed and produced compounds for the medical market for many years, with the focus being on medical grade plastics for the segments of diagnostics, pharmaceutical packaging, and medical products. The TPE specialist supports its customers and injection molders in the medical and pharmaceutical sectors with a unique service package that enables the compliance of its Thermolast M materials with strict international standards for biocompatibility, purity, and quality.

“In recent years, we have been able to expand our sales network in Italy by hiring additional staff. This way we implement our core competencies, particularly the customer focus. We are committed to offer and deliver overall reliable customer service ranging from the first product idea and possible design of the mold through to first production attempts and series production. Every customer is assigned a permanent contact person, who, together with the application technology department and a market-oriented development team, provides support for all issues involving everything to do with thermoplastic elastomers and their processing”, says Michael Pollmann, Sales & Marketing Director Emea.
