Husky Injection Molding Systems appointed the Italian Stefano Mirti as president of the hot runners and controllers business unit effective January 1, 2016. Mirti has been acting interim leader of the hot runners and controllers business since June 2015.

Mirti has more than 20 years of operations and sales experience within Husky including general sales manager Europe, and most recently serving as vice-president, global hot runner operations. Mirti holds an engineering degree in process engineering from École des Mines de Nancy (France) and an MBA from Sacred Heart University (Luxembourg).
