Founded in 1975, BFM today is a leading manufacturer of automatic haul-offs and winders for extrusion blow-moulding lines and flexographic printers with central drum up to 10 colours, as well as 2, 4, 6 and 8 colour stack-type printers. To celebrate its first 45 years in the business BFM has expanded its headquarters in Solbiate Olona (near Varese, Italy) with a new shed adjacent to the existing one.
The new structure adds 1,500 square meters to the 3,000 already existing, hosting activities such as machinery assembly, research and development as well as a showroom. In the face of the difficulties of the moment, this investment was instrumental to support the company's growth, driven by a technological upgrade strategy that is involving the entire range of BFM products as part of a wider investment plan aimed at enhancing the company’s technologies and resources.
