The new Inglass/HRSFlow productive and R&D facility, in the technological and economic development district (HEDA) of Hangzhiu (China), has been recently inaugurated, after having been completed in 2009 and started at the end of the last year. The structure will be destined for the whole production cycle of hot runner systems and represents a strategic outpost for strengthening the Italian company penetration in Asia, where it intends to exploit the positive trend both of the mobility field and the electronic, packaging and white industries.
The facility, realized on the same concept of the Italian headquarters, required an investment of 7.5 million euro approx and at present employs more than 100 people including managers and engineers from Chinese universities and technical institutes who will manage design, sale and assistance. Its position in one of the main Chinese industrial districts where 15 universities (8 of which are polytechnics) are based is considered an important competitive advantage to generate relations of cooperation aimed at developing new research projects as well as important partnerships.
