On July 13, 2017, Arburg celebrated the start of groundwork for a new training center at its central location in Lossburg. The new multi-storey building will have 13,700 sqm of usable space and represents an investment for the company of several tens of millions of euros.
"The new training centre is a clear sign of our commitment to Lossburg and demonstrates our long-term, goal-oriented strategy", emphasised managing partner Michael Hehl, who is responsible for plant development. "In architectural terms, the new building will resemble the customer centre and increase the total usable area in Lossburg by almost five percent to around 180,000 sqm".
"In addition to our first-class technology, our customers also value our first-class service, which also includes our broad range of training courses relating to machines, application technology and service. We have trained some 90,000 specialists over the past decades - and demand continues to grow", said Michael Hehl. Aiming to offer customers an even better environment in this area in the future, Arburg is now investing in a large training centre.
The ground floor will offer space for around 15 Allrounder injection moulding machines for practical training. Twelve rooms will be available on the first floor for training customers on theoretical points. The next two floors will be open plan offices for administrative staff. The plan is that the fourth floor will house Arburg’s company health management service.
