Sri Lankan industrial and agricultural tyre manufacturer Global Rubber Industries (GRI), headquartered in Sri Lanka, has invested around 36 million euros in the purchase of a Comerio Ercole calender in order to improve process efficiency at its Badalgama plant.
 

The calender stands out for its capacity to process 300 tons of material per day and for its high precision, high quality rubberisation of tire cord fabrics. It will be used to produce agricultural tyres, in particular steel-belted radial ones.
