On a 480-smq stand, Negri Bossi will be displaying four machines which focal point will be the all new Nova s600T model, which completes this range of presses. In addition to this, the company also will be showing two electric machines from its Nova eT range as well as a 330 tonnes servo hydraulic machine.

The NOVA s600T comes from the Nova sT range that is available from 600 to 1,300 tonnes. The new and innovative range has a unique toggle system that gives all benefits of a traditional toggle system whilst generating a footprint close to that of a two platen machine. The machines come with the latest generation servo hydraulic system for maximum performance and energy saving combined with the patented and technology leading Motus controller with its revolutionary virtual object system for axis movement. This machine will be making a folding crate with part extraction via a Sytrama robot going to an assembly station.

Two Nova eT all electric machines will complete the collection of Nova machines on display. The Nova eT range aims at the packaging, closures, medical and optical moulding sectors and its machines are precise, efficient and fast. The Nova eT ranges from 50 to 350 tonnes. The machines feature the smart flex 2 clamp units specially designed for electric actuation and for reduced dry cycle times. The whole range features generous tie bar spacing, high injection speeds and Tactum multi-touch controller with scroll, zoom and swipe capability.

The first, a Nova e130T, will be fitted with a 40-mm barrier screw and a mould made by Molmasa (Spain) to produce Roll On. This moulding solution for the packaging industry is a new patented method for producing high quality plastic bottles blown directly from the injection moulding machine. The benefits of this application are: a compact, simple and reliable mould concept; an horizontal injection moulding machine layout; a simple and fast start up; a high-quality final product; a low-cost production.

The second, a Nova eT, will be a 220ton model that will produce glass by a fourimpression mould made by FB Moulds; it will be equipped with a bagging machine. Parts will be extracted from the mould via a side entry Sytrama Robot and placed into the bagging unit.

The fourth machine will be a 330 ton model producing a broom brush incorporating the Negri Bossi FMC technology. FMC is a technique of moulding with gas (nitrogen) which reduces the weight of the product and eliminates aesthetic defects. The use of WPC in addition to FMC system guarantees an ecological solution for the plastics products manufacturing. FMC system represents the ideal solution to reduce weight because it produces moulded parts as a microcellular foam, and is available both for thermoplastics and liquid silicon rubber. The machine will be equipped also with a brush making machine by Borghi.

All machines will be fitted with Sytrama automation. Moreover, the Negri Bossi Amico 4.0 system, devoted to Industry 4.0 will show the latest developments achieved through the collaboration with the Italian Open Plast platform.
