The new PF3WB/C/S/R digital flow switch manifold developed by SMC allows the user to centralize the flow and temperature control of the different lines in the same system.
This solution makes it possible to accommodate all flow switches in a single manifold - and not on each line - in order to reduce inspection times and deliver quick and easy installation thanks to a minimum number of tubes. In addition, the three versions available - basic (B), straight (C) and supply/ return (S/R) - ensure flexibility and allow the use of the manifold in various application areas.
The flow switch is equipped with a three-section display, which simultaneously signals the current flow rate and a field with selectable values - set point, hysteresis, minimum or maximum values - lit red or green depending on the acceptable range. The flow switches are compatible with IO-Link, which helps reduce overall costs and increase efficiency. An integrated temperature sensor improves the machine's availability by providing cooling water maintenance.
