Two "giant" calendering plants were recently completed by Comerio Ercole for a major converter operating in the pharmaceutical industry in the Far East. The lines stand out for the five-roll calender for rigid plastic films, with a width of 2,400 mm.  

The lines are also equipped with an innovative longitudinal stretching unit, conceived and designed to prevent the cross shrinkage of the film during stretching, inline embossing system and temperature-controlled cooling unit.
