A new range of bimetallic twin-screw barrels is proposed by Euroviti, based in Cazzago San Martino (Brescia, Italy), to improve the extruder performances. Two versions are currently available: EUV400 and EUV1000 (containing tungsten carbide), characterized respectively by good and excellent resistance to wear, abrasion and corrosion. These cylinders reduce and prevent extruder load decreases, since they can be regenerated with the insertion of new bushes, thus ensuring a further saving in terms of maintenance time and costs.
