The new BR5 thermoforming machine introduced by CMS, based in Zogno (Bergamo, Italy), at PLAST 2012 is equipped with electric brushless motors in place of the traditional pneumatic or hydraulic drives, reducing environmental impact and improving energy consumption by up to 20-30%.
The new heating cards, specifically designed for the thermoforming process and not usable with other technologies, have a modular field bus mounted on a DIN rail with quick power inlets for electrical connections. They are thus easy to use and simplify maintenance operations.
