Techne Graham Packaging opens the doors of its facility in Castel Guelfo (Bologna, Italy) from the 10th to the 20th of September to present the new ADVT extrusion and blow-moulding machine in the Advance line. The machine is completely electric and available in a single- or dual-carriage version.
Design is concentrated prevalently on three aspects: low energy consumption, reduced maintenance, and ease of use. The result is a machine offering easy and safe access to any area, facilitating maintenance, extrusion head cleaning, and format changeover. The simplicity of use, thanks partially to the intuitive PC touch-screen interface, makes it easy to operate even by relatively inexperienced operators, while the total absence of hydraulics translates into low noise level, lower cooling need, and a clean work station.
Energy consumption has been reduced by 35% with respect to hydraulic systems thanks to the implementation of systems such as: energy recovery, can bus wiring and mould closure tested and optimized by the builder over the 5 years that the Advance series has been in production. Components such as brushless actuators and absolute encoders, as well as automatic lubrication, virtually eliminate maintenance and ensure long operational life of the machine and high efficiency levels.
