The BM Biraghi injection moulding machines are to be relaunched by Negri Bossi also in Europe, as the entry level product of its range of presses. Contrary to what had been initially announced, Silvio Tavecchia, general manager of the company based in Cologno Monzese, in the outskirts of Milan, told Macplas on 21 February that "starting from 2013 these machines will be sold in western Europe, as well in the countries of the East, and in North Africa, Turkey and South America.
The models currently available have clamping forces from 100 to 430 t - though in the near future this could reach 600 t - in hydraulic or Smart Energy hydraulic versions (that is to say, with inverter and variable displacement pump). "We have already delivered various machines in the BM Biraghi version starting from 2011," adds Tavecchia. "These are interesting solutions, which we believe will perform very well in future".
