In addition to manufacturing plastic recycling plants as its core business, Tecnova has also been building profile extrusion lines for some time.
The latter are primarily based on E60 single screw extruders with 60 mm diameter screws, but the range also includes smaller E45 and larger E90 models, with screw diameters of 45 and 90 mm respectively. These lines can be configured for the extrusion of both rigid and plasticized PVC, to make, for example, profiles for shutters or price tag holders for shelves.
Devised and developed around what is certainly the most important component of the plant, namely the extruder, the lines come complete with die and calibrator, vacuum tanks, caterpillar haul-offs and cutting units with a 6-meter unloading system. The main advantages these extrusion lines are simplicity in use, low maintenance costs and easy cleaning and die change.
For rigid PVC extrusion, these lines are recommended for manufacturing pipes with a maximum diameter of 110 mm, because there is no advantage in using single-screw extruders for diameters larger than this.
