Exploiting the experience it
acquired as contractor in the extrusion sector, today SA2P applies the same
logic for feasibility studies and production technologies in the field of 3D
printing. The application scopes of industrial 3D printing are truly vast, just
as the spectrum of users for this relatively young technology are increasingly
broad. Plastic processors certainly use the technology when they need to make
affordable prototypes quickly in the testing stage, as do architects or
designers who no longer limit themselves to simply the analysis and study
stage, but who are involved until production is finalised.
Dario Negrelli Pizzigoni, son of the
founder and current CEO of the company, having perceived the many opportunities
associated with 3D printing a long time ago, has developed a synergic network
of specialist expertise with major producers of raw materials on the one hand,
and with the Florence based Cloner 3D on the other. The latter, in particular,
designs and constructs advanced 3D printers with various associated patents - a
factor of considerable importance.
Also from Cloner 3D is a new 3D printer with two arms which, when needed, can make two different pieces at the same time, and a robotic arm for automatic parts removal.
