A permanent installation of joint technology - result of the collaboration between RocTool and Moretto - will form the core of the upcoming open house, being held at RocTool’s facility located in Charlotte (North Carolina, United States) on June 9, 2016. As a heat and cool technology leader, RocTool now offers High Definition Plastics (a trademark by RocTool) capabilities to plastic moulders. The process, developed by RocTool, has been used in production by major brands in innovative fields such as automotive, aerospace, consumer products, and electronics. Amongst its many advantages, this technology include: reduced cycle times, surface quality improvements, and light-weighting. Together, these advantages allow for an overall cost reduction of the produced parts for manufacturers. As a global supplier of ancillary equipment for plastic processors and a recognized leader in technology and innovation, Moretto has provided a turnkey centralised resin handling system to RocTool including: feeding, dosing, drying and thermoregulation solutions. Therefore, the Italian company invited all industry players to join the open house on June 9 to witness the live demonstration of the new technology and to exchange information and share experiences with Moretto specialists present at the event.
