An important European group, a leader in the production of PET film, which already has 8 Bandera lines in operation, entrusted the Varese-based company to manufacture its third PET film line, for its branch in the Iberian Peninsula. This line will be manufactured at the beginning of 2017 and it can produce both foam PET and the classical PET rigid film, with widths up to 1600 mm and thicknesses ranging from 0.15 to 1.50 mm and from 0.40 to 1 mm, respectively, for the production of thermoformed packaging products.

The system will reach a gross production output up to 1000 kg/h, and its main features will include a 7 components raw material dosing system for the co-rotating twin screw extruder 2C 105 mm 52D and a 6 components dosing system for the single screw extruder TR 75 mm 35D. The equipment will be completed by a 2200 mm flat die, a super-filtration system equipped with forced back-flush system for continuous operation, a dehumidification system, and a double-plate continuous filtering system.

The end of the line will feature a cooling and polishing roll stack calender, a grinding unit for edge trims, an “off calender” film lamination system, a silicon coating system, and a multi-reel turret revolver winding system.
