Established in 1973 and specializing in design and manufacturing vacuum thermoforming machines, specifically for the refrigerator sector where it became in short time a milestone for multinational corporations, nowadays the Italian company Comi offers machines available in different configurations. Its range includes single station machines suitable for the production of any thermoformed article (LaborForma), vacuum thermoforming machines specifically developed for the production of household refrigerator (BLX/SLX and STD), vacuum/pressure (New Generation and Pressure Forming) and pressure (HEDL) thermoforming machines.
And it is a really new generation LaborForma what Comi presents at the K show in Düsseldorf at its booth E40, in hall 3. That is a single station thermoforming machine with high technological contents though maintaining easy use and control. Its best application fields are refrigerators (innerliners and innerdoors), sanitary (bathtubs and shower panels) and automotive (bumpers, dashboards etc.).
The LaborForma on display is a 1500x1300x700 mm, full electric model, equipped with brushless motors for the working table moving.
Quartz heating elements, electric plug assist with 4 columns, magnetic window frame (patented), upper reduction frame (Patented), easy mould changeover (maximum 15 minutes, with additional production advantages) even in full automatic mode, lower frame with rotary adjusting are its main features. The machine control system is through PC, with software entirely developed by Comi.
