Ahead of the 2018 deadline, Negri Bossi has already obtained the certification of its quality system in conformity with the new ISO 9001 standards (issued in 2015), adopting a risk-based thinking approach in order to determine the factors that could make the quality control system and processes ineffective and to put in place the necessary controls to ensure beforehand that this does not happen.
During the certification process, the manufacturer’s reference context has been analysed, determining the main risks at a strategic and operational level, and drawing from this analysis the basis for planning the necessary improvements. This approach has been integrated into the company's strategies to pursue innovation policies for products, manufacturing processes and relationships with suppliers and customers, as well as to adequately support Negri Bossi’s policy geared to penetrating key markets and repositioning the company brand.
The results of the comparison with the certification authority were particularly positive: no negative aspects and two strong points. Negri Bossi has showed, therefore, to be in line with the evolution of quality control principles.
