Record-breaking figures for Star Automation Europe in October, with incoming orders about 15% higher than the best month of 2019. The company announced this result in a press release, also stating that, based on the portfolio of already confirmed orders, November should also be at the same level as October.
The company explains that the current trend began moderately in August, with incoming orders almost in line with those of the previous years, after months of forced slowdown, and continued in September. The orders received during autumn have led to unexpected overwork in the company's production departments that will continue at least until the end of 2020 despite the recourse to overtime to fulfil the numerous delivery requests by the end of December. Moreover, the sale of all machines in stock forced Star Automation Europe to revise its delivery programme in order to better comply with order requests coming from all over Europe.
"At a time when economic performance is difficult to predict and programmes are put down on a day-by-day basis, we are delighted at such a positive trend but this also underlines the need to be able to adapt to market changes and to the sudden ups and downs in the recovery path, in order to create new opportunities without losing sight of our business goals" the release goes on.
"Over these months Star Automation Europe has always put the safety and health of its employees first, applying all the necessary measures to counter the spread of the coronavirus. Nevertheless, we have also managed to guarantee our customers the support of our technical assistance team for installation and maintenance operations, always carried out following the restrictions in place in each country", the company concludes.
