LyondellBasell has made the decision to cease operations at its two office locations in Russia. As a result, the offices in Moscow and Togliatti have begun winding down operations. The offices were primarily involved in selling polymers from its O&P and APS businesses. Both offices employ a combined 18 employees.

“Current conditions in the region are the primary drivers for this decision,” said Richard Roudeix, Senior Vice President, Olefins & Polyolefins, Europe, Middle East, Africa and India. “We recognize this is a difficult situation for our employees and have a local team in place to support them during this transition period”.
