Recently Plastiblow has supplied two electric blow moulding machines for the production of lubricant jerry cans. A dual carriage PB10E/DXL machine has been installed at the factory of an important South African group for the blow moulding of Castrol GTX jerry cans with a capacity of 5 litres and a weight of 240 g, ensuring an output rate of almost 800 pieces per hour. The containers, featuring two layer walls, level line and double handle, are produced in different colours, with extremely rapid colour changes around 20-25 minutes.
The second machine, a single carriage PB10E/SXL model, has been delivered to a manufacturer of Texaco lubricant jerry cans destined to the Latin American market. The machine is equipped with three cavities moulds with 240 mm centre distance. This configuration achieves an hourly output rate of up to 750 pieces with a capacity of 5 litres and a weight of 150 g.
