The double station PB10E/DXL full electric blow moulding machine has been recently developed by Plastiblow, which exhibited it at K 2013, for the production of cosmetic style bottles. It features a mould holder stroke of 800 mm, an extruder with a diameter of 100 mm, an output of 300 kg/h and a clamping force of 24 tons. Each station can be fitted with up to 6 cavity with 120-mm centre distance.
The extrusion head has been designed to ensure greater control of the extruded parison, also allowing quicker colour changes - even less than half an hour - using multicavity heads. A servo driven 3-axis robot picks up bottles after deflashing and places them on a linear conveyor belt. An inline quality control device automatically discards any defective pieces with microholes, deformations, obstructions of the neck and detects sprues.
