Lehmann&Voss has now founded its own representative office in South Korea in the form of Lehvoss Korea. The Hamburg-based company is thus adding an additional strategic component to its internationalization strategy. With the newly founded representative office, the specialist in high-performance compounds is aiming above all to provide an even better service for the electronics and automotive sector in South Korea and Korean transplants.

Alongside China, Japan and Taiwan, South Korea is one of the core markets in Asia for such applications. Lehmann&Voss is thus aiming to participate in the long-term growth within one of the global development centres.

Lehmann&Voss has been supporting its plastics business in Asia since the beginning of 2014 from its base at Lehvoss Shanghai and is now further reinforcing its presence in the region by establishing this office in South Korea. It was only in September 2014 when the Hamburg company acquired a majority holding in Performance Compounding in the USA. Today it has production facilities in the USA and a license production with our partner Seyang in South Korea.
