To meet the increased requirements for chemical resistance and thermal stability, Gummiwerk Kraiburg has expanded its product portfolio to include perfluorelastomer based compounds (FFKM). Applications include high-performance perfluorelastomer products such as seals and membranes. These compounds are used primarily in the chemical industry, mechanical engineering and aeronautics.

The stringent requirements of these applications make robust seal solutions an absolute “must”. Perfluorelastomer compounds from Gummiwerk Kraiburg enable the implementation of durable seal applications, which contribute to higher productivity and sustainability. One of the major advantages of this product group is the much improved chemical stability compared to fluorelastomer compounds. Perfluorelastomer compounds can be used at continuous temperatures of more than 300°C. In addition, their compression set at temperatures far above 200°C expands the spectrum for demanding seal applications.
