An open house of the Coex Bubble (10) line, with corotating twin screw extruder with a net production up to 1000 kg/h, is taking place at the Bastia Umbra (Perugia, Italy) factory of Colines Air Bubble from January 19 to 26 2017.
Especially suitable for technical packaging and envelops, the Coex Bubble (10) series is fullu automatic and includes touch screen controls for custom configuration of production recipes. Thanks to an on-board network connection, machine function can be remotely monitored via Internet, the modular configuration of Coex Bubble (10) lends itself to many useful upgrades, such us a third lamination unit, a perforation unit etc.
In place of the main single screw extruder, the machine is equipped with a corotating twin screw extruder that brings the following advantages:
- up to 30% cost reduction thanks to the less expansive raw materials that can be used, including 100% recycled materials:
- lower energy consumption thanks to the more efficient kW/kg extrusion ratio;
- higher production flexibility thanks to the numerous types of raw material that can be blended together with PE, like calcium carbonate, talc, barium sulfate and other charged and reinforced materials.
