While participating as a speaker at the Plastic Pipes 2019 conference organized by SPE in Mumbai on November 21 and 22, Itib Machinery also set up an open house event to celebrate the launch of Itib Machinery India, a joint venture with Satellite Plastic Industries, the company’s agent on the Indian market for almost twenty years.

The event, which took place on November 19, 20 and 23, saw a large participation of visitors. Many of them were major Indian manufacturers of plastic pipes. During the three days of the open house, an extrusion line for the production of double-walled HDPE corrugated pipes up to 75 mm in thickness was demonstrated live along with a line for the production of compactable single-layer PP pipes for siphons, equipped with a FV75 and a F32 corrugator, respectively, supplied by Itib Machinery.

The mission of the new joint venture is to serve the local market in a more timely and competitive manner, supplying products based on the well-established Itib technology along with rapid and timely technical assistance service supported by the Indian organization, as well as on-site availability of spare parts.

For the time being, the range of corrugators made in India will cover single-walled and double-walled pipes with thicknesses of up to 75 mm. This range can be expanded in the future according to the specific requests from local processors.
