The new Servotube printing machines with technology developed by Omso, based in Reggio Emilia (Italy), are introduced at PLAST 2012 (Fiera Milano, 8-12 May) for the decoration of plastics tubes and capsules.
The machine layout, in a 12-mandrel rotary version, is freely determined taking into account that up to 3 stations are available for flexographic decoration or silkscreen printing and/or lacquering. Colour register is very accurate with very strict tolerances to obtain prints with halftones thanks to servo-assisted printing registers. The mandrels are driven by single direct servo-motors enabling a quick and easy size changeover without special tools.
