Fifty companies will be selected by Promaplast, organizer of Plast 2015, and ComoNext, scientific-technological park of Lomazzo (Como), to participate free of charge at the 17th edition of Plast, the trade show to be held in Milan from 5 to 9 May 2015. The initiative, entitled “Win and Participate in Plast 2015” is intended for companies, aspiring entrepreneurs and startups (with a maximum of four years of activity behind them at 20 December 2014) operating in the plastics and rubber industry as manufacturers of machinery, equipment and molds, converters, creators of software to manage machines and processes, etc.

The idea of the project is to create an exhibition space for innovative companies that can therefore benefit from the visibility offered by the trade show and provide a plaform for launching new projects and finding players capable of supporting new businesses. You may enter the contest until 20 December by downloading the participation application from www.plastonline.org and www.comonext.it and sending it to the e-mail addresses [email protected] and [email protected]. Applications will be examined and evaluated by a commission composed of Promaplast and ComoNext experts based on the innovative content of the idea, its market potential, CV and potential abilities of the proponents, sustainability and environmental impact. The first fifty proposals selected will be able to participate in the trade show at no charge and display their projects in the Start Plast area, the thematic section devoted to research, development, education, assistance and financing to companies in Italy and abroad, with the participation of universities, training centers, industry associations and investment funds for creating startups in the sector. The projects classified in the top three places will receive a cash prize of 3,000, 2,000 and 1,000 euro, respectively.
