One of the Italian companies named national champion at the eighth edition of the European Business Awards was Amut, manufacturer of extrusion lines, thermoforming machines and recycling plants. And Amut is now in the running for the final prize, the national Ruban d’Honneur. “The European Business Awards are one of the premiere world competitions because they involve a significant number of businesses of a certain calibre, attracting the major media. We are honoured to have passed the first round and to move on in the competition,” commented Piergianni Milani, Amut president.
Sponsored by RSM International, the European Business Awards recognize and award excellence, best practices and the most innovative companies operating in Europe. The Awards are open to all companies regardless of size or sector. The winner receives the final prize of the Ruban d’Honneur. A jury of 150 judges, including executives, academics and entrepreneurs, will supervise the contest and assess the contestants.
The online voting process is divided into two phases: the first regards the choice of national champion, and will conclude on 24 February; the second, naming the European champion, will end on 16 April. “Public voting represents an engaging way to show our successful products to a very broad audience, composed not only of our current clients but also of our potential prospects. It is an attractive occasion to gain important visibility throughout <st1:place w:st="on">Europe,” stated Mauro Drappo, Amut managing director.
