After its participation at NPE 2015 and Plast 2015, Ferromatik - the Milacron brand devoted to injection moulding - has launched Elektron Evolution, a range of newly designed hydraulic machines equipped with an innovative operating system capable of offering greater flexibility and adaptability to practically every application field. The manufacturer has also prepared a catalogue featuring various new and updated products, including the new K-Tec series of high-performance machines that was previewed at Plast 2015. The most recent updates introduced to the company’s range of machines include equipment to bring them in line with the standards proposed in Europe with the Elektron series and the completion of the modular structure within the F series.
Plast 2015 also provided the Milacron group with an opportunity to unveil, in Europe, its Uniloy IBS 199-3 blow moulding machine, now converted to hydrid design, which features direct electric screw drive and servo-hydraulic injection, able to guarantee precise and constant cycles and reduced energy consumption. The work cell exhibited was equipped with the Axion rheologically balanced injector synchronisation system developed by Mold-Masters (another company belonging to the group), as well as with the TempMaster iM2 hot runner temperature controller system.
