On the first of October Piovan is organizing its Pipe & Profile Day at its head offices in Santa Maria di Sala, near Venice, a day entirely dedicated to the technology involved in the production of pipes and profiles. The event will be divided into three sessions during which talks will be by certain partners and associated companies: KraussMaffei, Penta, Collin, FDM, Aquatech and TEPPA. The attention will be focused on the innovations and the most recent developments of each company in their various fields of competence.

After the opening talk by Tony Calton (TEPPFA), there will be a talk on the innovative technology in pipe production (KraussMaffei) and the feed systems for polymers and additives (Penta). Proceeding with a talk on the improvements achieved in dosing technology (FDM), the solutions adopted for the reduced scale production of pipes and profiles (Collin), the solution for high energy efficiency cooling (Aquatech) and thermoplastic processing (Piovan). A visit is planned for the afternoon to the Innovation Center of the Venetian manufacturer, where a Collin Teach Line system is in operation with a cooling system by Aquatech and auxiliary equipment by Piovan itself.
