From May 18 to 20 Leistritz will hold an “Extrusion Academy” in Nuremberg. It is a training programme which has been running since 2003 and which involves laboratory technicians of the company in a variety of practical demonstrations on various extrusion lines and auxiliary systems.
The aim is to provide effective combination of theory and practice, starting from the assumption that the use of an extrusion lines at optimal capacity and quality conditions is no easy task. Only well trained and skilled personnel is capable of achieving excellent results; and a knowledge of the most advanced technological evolution is essential for this purpose and in order to be competitive on the processing market.
During the three day of the event detailed information will be provided on the latest state-of-the-art developments in compounding technology, on product quality enhancement which can be achieved with greater basic knowledge, on production optimization, and on the more efficient running of the extrusion lines, maintenance cost reduction and so on.
