From April 25 to 28, Leistritz Extrusion Technology not only exhibited a ZSE 40 MAXX twin screw extruder at Chinaplas but also presented its new ZSE CC series.
“Besides K show the Chinaplas fair is one of the most important international plastics exhibitions. We have been participating for years and this time again we present our application and engineering know-how, as well as our solution competence as system supplier”, explains Anton Fürst, managing director of Leistritz Extrusionstechnik. Together with its Chinese subsidiary Leistritz Machinery (Taicang) Co. the German company showcases a ZSE 40 MAXX twin screw extruder. It is a machine from the successful ZSE MAXX series which has been convincing the market through its combination of high torque (up to 15 Nm/cm³) and high volume (OD/ID of 1.66) for more than ten years. “The highlight of the show is however the introduction of our new extruder series for the Chinese and South East Asian market”, says Fürst. “The ZSE CC twin screw extruders”.
The corotating twin screw extruders of the ZSE CC (Classic Compounder) series has been
designed for Asian customers with high quality standards. In the first instance four extruder sizes with screw diameters of 27, 40, 50 and 60 mm will be put on the market in 2016/17. The machines have an OD/ID of 1.50 and a specific torque of 10.5 Nm/cm³. The maximum screw speed is 1,000 rpm.
China is a huge market for extruders in which Leistritz has been active for many years, since 2010 with its own subsidiary Leistritz Machinery (Taicang) Co. “We want to offer an alternative to our Asian customers in order for them to be able to benefit from the machine and processing competence of Leistritz. We provide this with the ZSE CC, which ideally unites German art of engineering and local sourcing”, concluded Fürst.
