The Grafe Group, located in Blankenhain, is stepping up its activities in southern Europe. “We’ve hired two new staff members for Italy and Spain to take care of our customers in both these market regions“, explains export manager Johannes Grau. Ivan Iarossi will organize his work from his home office placed in Bergamo while Constanti Ruiz Daura will be taking care of the Iberian region from his strategically located home office in Barcelona.
Ivan Iarossi, born in 1985, earned his master’s degree in chemical engineering at the Polytechnic University of Turin and is active in the area of research and development. He joined the Grafe Group in June 2015 and has undergone intensive training in the activities of all business units. He will be providing care and technical support to existing customers in addition to acquiring new customers with the focus on technically innovative applications in injection molding and extrusion
Constanti Ruiz Daura is responsible for the Iberian region and will be providing technical support for existing customers in the automobile industry in Spain and Portugal. The 29-year old Daura received his bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology and Biochemistry from the University of Rovira i Virgili and has been with Grafe since August 2014 where he has completed extensive training in all business divisions. Daura has been active in Spain since February 2016 providing care and support to existing customers and acquiring new customers. His focus is also on technically demanding applications in injection molding and extrusion.
“The activities of Iarossi and Ruiz on site in Italy and Spain will strengthen the name and image of Grafe as a technical service provider and strategic partner for our customers in these countries”, explains Grau. Besides Poland, southern Europe is one of the most important regions abroad for the Business Units Color Batch, Additive Batch and Polymer Technik. The Thuringian specialists in the coloring of plastics have a product range, which includes colour and additive masterbatches as well as a wide selection of functional plastic compounds.
