To tell the cover of MacPlas 376 (April/May, Italian edition) there is no other choice but to start from the Covid-19 pandemic, which has changed life in Italy and internationally, altered reality and every aspect of everything we know, and completely upended the way we live.

The cover features Mr Plastore, the face of the company Plastore, which has been operating in the plastic and associated technology industry for three decades. Plastore and PiElle MediaMix, the marketing and communications agency that developed Plasticomics, creators of stories and application support tools, decided they needed to create a story with an ethical message with relevance at this particular time, a story which all men and women working and living through these times can immediate recognize and relate to.

This is the reason why one of the company's established customers, Miss Lee, is smartworking from home, and why Mr Plastore literally rolls up his sleeves and gets on a fork lift truck, just as he might have done at the beginning of his career, to make sure his customers receive their raw materials. In spite of everything, he wants to provide support and advice along with his delivery of engineering plastics. Because, now more than ever, the difference is in the people, knowledge, commitment, and showing up in a time of need.

2019 was a year of change, when Plastore moved to the new location in Villamarzana (near Rovigo) to organize its new plastic granulate warehouse with over 5000 sq.m of indoor area and more than 30,000 sq.m outdoors. 2020 has become the year of opportunity to show who is most reactive, competitive, and closer than ever to the customer, understanding needs and finding solutions capable of maintaining a profit margin... even in this unforeseen economic situation.

Only by combining forces and competence, only by putting on a united front, acting as a single country, as though the entire world was Italy and we were their country, can we all not only pick up from where we left off, but also be raised by the fact that we have all gone through a new experience, to start back up again better than before, more knowledgeable, more willing and together... even after!
