WM has its sights set on the Usa
The Swiss manufacturer of thermoforming lines WM Wrapping Machinery has its sights set on the US market. For this reason, it has recruited the help of North American thermoforming expert Kent Johansonn, who has started working closely with the area manager Luca Oliverio in order to coordinate and train a team of agents and technicians, who, operating from a permanent office in the Tech Center in Elkhorn, Wisconsin, will focus on the local market and customers.
With this in mind, the company will be present at the next NPE fair, due to be held in Orlando (Florida) from 23 to 27 March, where it will be exhibiting its mod. FT 900 thermoforming machine. This is a machine featuring form & cut technology, a tilting lower platen, a thermoforming area measuring 34.6 x 20.4 inches, and a clamping force of 82.5 tons. The machine will be set up with a 54-cavity mould for the production of yogurt pots, with a diameter of 73.5 mm, made from PP6262 supplied by ExxonMobile. This material stands out for its high MFR (melt flow rate), rapid crystallisation and ease of processing, properties that translate into shorter cycles and high productivity.
