Two three-layer film lines for industrial bags destined for China
Two 3-layer blown film lines belonging to the HDBFlex Series for the production of HDB/FFS heavy duty bags, are being tested at the Bandera factory in Busto Arsizio, in the province of Varese. The lines are destined to two Chinese processors a new one from Hunan Province, and a loyal long-term company belonging to the Sinopec Group, one of the most important petrochemical groups in the world, which has purchased a total of nine Bandera lines for industrial bag film extrusion since 2001.
With the exception of the line production output and the size of the core layer extruder, respectively of 350 and 400 kg per hour and of 85 and 100 mm of diameter, the two HDBFLEX ® lines have similar configurations, starting from the width of the flat film, that can reach up to 700 mm with a thickness of between 80 and 250 µm. The main part of the system comprises a gravimetric dosing system, two extruders of 65 mm in diameter for the side layers, a co-extrusion 3-layer die head, with a newly designed IBC system dedicated to HDB bag film production, controlled by ultrasound sensors, automatic film width control, high efficiency triple lip air cooling ring, automatic film thickness measurement and adjustment system, and bubble guiding cages.
The configuration is completed with a rotating pull device with an 800 mm table with carbon fibre rollers, belt guides, a single station winding unit, capable of winding reels with a diameter of up to 1.5 m, and a cooling unit.
