New module for tests with redesigned functionality
With its new TestProfiler, Instron, a division of ITW Test and Measurement Italia (headquartered in Pianezza, near Turin, Italy), offers wholly redesigned functionality of the Bluehill 3 software. By simulating the functional use of the product during the testing phase, high flexibility is ensured in the creation of automated finished-product reliability tests or plastic specimen tests.
With this version of Bluehill 3, product designers and engineers can use Instron electromechanical testing solutions to accelerate the verification and validation processes and thus product development. The Bluehill 3 TestProfiler functionality facilitates the setup of tests that require:
- repetitive cycles for component quality control tests of components normally used during foam, spring or load tests;
- step-by-step loading patterns to simulate the use of medical devices and consumer electronics;
- ability to build test flow logic by monitoring and responding to internal and external sensors and digital states;
- tests with simultaneous temperature control of the specimen using special Instron chamber and furnace products.
