Large diameters are not a problem anymore

Expansion of FB Balzanelli range of coilers for the PE pipe market continues thanks to the latest new entry FB ML 7, a top-performance coiler for coiling and packaging HDPE pipes with diameters of up to 160 mm. This machine, capable of making coils of up to 5 tons, was created in technical partnership with the Italian company Lunardon with the aim to significantly reduce the time needed to complete this project. Despite the difficulties involved in coiling this diameter of pipes, the two companies have managed to launch on the market an automatic coiler equipped with a Fast strapper which can automatically coil, strap and eject large coils with widths of up to 2400 mm and weighing up to 5 tons. The combination of technical quality, excellent production performances and, last but not least, good aesthetic appearance have already met with the enthusiasm of many customers, who have been able to manage productions that until now have always involved high labour requirements and consequently considerable costs. Particularly popular with customers is the application of FB Balzanelli’s “round pipe” technology, thanks to which it is possible to significantly reduce pipe ovalisation and reduce the internal diameters of the coils. The immediate success of FB ML 7, with four more units already ordered by other customers, shows how FB Balzanelli and Lunardon have succeeded in offering an excellent machine in terms of performance and sturdiness and capable of taking a significant step forward in technology and in reducing production costs.
