First time for Biesse at Plast

The market needs something to change in production processes that will enable companies to accept the greatest number of job orders possible, maintaining high standards of quality and personalisation of manufactured goods, and guaranteed rapid, solid delivery times. Biesse responds to these needs with innovative technological solutions for processing advanced materials.

These include the new numeric control machining centre, the Rover Plast A FT - one of three machines being exhibited by the company making its debut at Plast - featuring future-oriented technical solutions, guaranteed finish quality, and highly advanced parts for ensuring performance, maximum panel resistance, promoting precision processing, and total safety for the operator.

The machine is fitted with an electrospindle that can reach 36,000 rpm, and processes any material with consistently high performance. The swinging tangential blade, specific tool unit for processing plastic and composite materials ensures the utmost precision for all processing types. Titanium components on the cutter unit guarantee extreme reliability and long life. The tool unit with swinging tangential blade can also be fitted with a camera to manage the mould markets, usable also with a milling unit. The work surface is suitable for processing various types and sizes of panels thanks to an innovative vacuum system fitted with high capacity pump for processing and fixing breathable materials, and pumps with high head values for milling operations.
