Second BOPET film line from Brückner for Dhunseri Poly Films
A wholly owned subsidiary of Dhunseri Ventures, Dhunseri Poly Films has placed an order with Brückner Maschinenbau for its second BOPET film production line, to be installed at the company’s Panagarh plant (India). The line stands out as one of the fastest of its kind worldwide, capable of running at a constant production speed of 700 metres per minute.
“We want to be fully prepared for the anticipated growth in our industry. Following the successful start-up of our first BOPET line in 2023, this new order further strengthens our partnership with Brückner,” said C. K. Dhanuka, Chairman of Dhunseri Ventures. “Together, we are setting a new benchmark with the world’s first BOPET line designed for a production speed of 700 metres per minute – a true milestone for innovation and leadership in the industry,” added Johann Kreilinger, Head of Sales for the Middle East, India and Africa at Brückner Maschinenbau.
This investment represents an important technological step and sends a strong signal from both companies, reinforcing their shared commitment to innovation and excellence in the Indian BOPET market. The new line is expected to set new standards in efficiency and productivity, delivering higher output with lower production costs, and further strengthening Dhunseri Poly Films’ position as an industry frontrunner.
The first BOPET line installed at the Panagarh site had already proved to be a significant success story, thanks to Brückner’s advanced technologies, including the multi-gap MDO system for high-temperature film orientation and the advanced FOK 8.8 sliding chain track system, which enables high-speed operation and a substantial reduction in maintenance costs.
