A company driven by a constant desire for technological improvement

At K 2016, Bausano presented the best of its technology, showing the newest extruders MD 75/30, MD 92-30 and MD130-30, the completely renewed TGL side cutter for PVC granulation lines, and a new concept of granules chiller. Although the manufacturer’s range of extrusion machines and lines is subject to continuous renewal and improvement, to ensure the customers can always get the best products, some basic technologies have been maintained as fundamental pillars of its solutions: it is the case of the super- tested Multidrive system.

Not by chance, R&D is one of the fundamental factors of the company’s activity, as demonstrated by the recent completion, at the main plant in Rivarolo Canavese (Turin, Italy), of the new test room, where each system can be tested before delivery and practical tests on theoretical solutions proposed by the design office are carried out. Another important feature now characterising all Bausano’s lines is energy saving without any loss in terms of overall performance.

Among the traditional strengths of the Bausano production, that this year reached its 70th anniversary, the granulation lines, particularly the PVC variety, should be mentioned as well as those for the extrusion PVC pipes and profiles which, in some countries, make the company the undisputed leader of this type of machinery.

In the last decade, the company also focused on the lines for medical products, such as sack sheets, PVC and EVA tubes, etc. These include the newest medical tube extrusion lines, equipped with new co-extrusion head, allowing for the creation of flexible PVC pipes, coextruded with colored or radiopaque line; rapid tube dimensional change; new stainless steel tub with double air gap; automatic control of the diameter and ovalization of the tube etc. Designed for the medical industry are also the PVC embossed sheet extrusion lines, with three rollers calendar for glazing the inner face of the sheets produced. This treatment avoids the adhesion between the two inner sides of the bag, facilitating its use and ensuring greater security.

The most successful products from Bausano also include the WPC lines for the extrusion of wood-plastic composites: high-performance, highly innovative and versatile materials that ensure great resistance to weathering and UV, fireproof properties, low or no maintenance requirements, ease of use and 100% recyclability.
