Two Union lines for rPET film in Mexico

Two complete plants for the extrusion of rPET film for the thermoforming of rigid packaging have been installed by Union at a Mexican converter, which brings to 16 the number of lines in the fleet of this latter supplied by the Italian manufacturer.

The two lines were developed to process up to 100% recycled material, guaranteeing the production of thermoformable sheet for rigid packaging and FFS food applications with a capacity of over 1,000 kg per hour, a 1,300 mm useful table and thicknesses from 0.160 to 1.6 mm.
