New appointments at Basf Italy

In line with the Group’s Winning Ways strategy, Basf Italy has appointed new Boards of Directors for several of its companies in the country, with the aim of consolidating growth and laying the foundations to face future challenges.

As for Basf Italy, Manuel Pianazzi, Plant Manager at the Pontecchio Marconi site (Bologna), has also been appointed Chief Executive Officer, while Lorenzo Bottinelli, Vice President Country Cluster Italy, takes on the role of Chairman of the Board of Directors. Furthermore, to ensure continuity in management, Lorenzo Bottinelli will retain responsibility for advocacy, external representation, and extraordinary operations, and will support the implementation of the regional organisation transition project in Italy.

At Basf Coatings, Roberto Sanvito, Regional Business Manager Europe South East – Automotive Refinish Coatings Solutions, has also been appointed Chief Executive Officer of the company, which specialises in providing coating solutions for the automotive sector.
