Bandera tested a line for 5-layer blown film

In April, an important Spanish processor commissioned to Bandera a high-output 5-layer blown film coextrusion line. The specifications of this line make it possible to process polyolefin materials achieving high outputs. This coextrusion line has been tested at the very end of October in the new R&D department at the Bandera headquarters in Busto Arsizio (near Varese, Italy).

The line is designed with the following features: production of stretch-hood film, gusseted film, film for flexible packaging, and film for converting and lamination; extrusion and cooling sections suitable to reach outputs rated well beyond 600 kg/h; 1650 mm film net width, trimmed by using a 300 mm diameter die; integrated and state of the art control system, which allows a functional and effective management of all line operations.
