A 5-layer POD line for the first time in Georgia
A new
Macchi 5-layer POD line has been delivered in Georgia to a major manufacturer
of beverage packaging products. For the company based in Venegono Inferiore (near Varese,
Italy) this is the first line of its kind ever delivered in the country.
The plant, a 1,800-mm POD 5-layer line, will allow the production of up to 500 kg/h of collation shrink/stretch hood film. In addition, thanks to the water cooling of the extruders, the plant will guarantee reduced energy consumption, thus allowing the manufacturer a real optimization of the entire life cycle management costs.
As announced by the company, Macchi achieved a further important goal in its international development process, opening a new market and thus bringing the total number of markets served to 88. Technology, innovation, quality and timely service, underlines the company, were decisive factors in the choice of the customer to contact the company from Varese.
